SIP is a new and novel venture begun in 2008 by Windy Cooler-Stith, a veteran organizer and researcher. Our mission is to grow new community initiatives by eradicating organizer burn-out.

Organizers are our communities’ honored guides in an age-old pursuit for human dignity, justice, and wholeness of spirit, but too often their time in the field is cut short by mental and physical illness brought on by both the necessary - and unnecessary - stresses of life in public service. Our communities need skilled and healthy veterans beside them on their long journey to justice. Our organizers – and their families - deserve better.

In the next year SIP will be accepting new clients, attending conferences, and working hard within the organizer community to build new projects and an open, useful website in support of this mission. We hope soon to have a searchable community calendar that details everything from national conferences to local meetings across the world - to the victories and defeats and history of our culture – to the local festivals and events that color and enrich our lives in the community. We are already preparing an e-newsletter to help define and explore, through the words of organizers, the issues of importance in our life’s work. Please sign up for your copy today!

The word "organizing" has come to mean de-cluttering. De-cluttering closets, organizing shoes, bringing our lives into focus through the act of cleaning; embracing the abundance in our lives and sloughing off the waste. SIP won't organize your shoes. But we will help you bring your full potential into focus.
